A gutter’s main purpose is to divert water off the roof and away from your home. An abundance of water too close to your home can erode the soil around it and compromise your home’s foundation. Therefore it is important to inspect your gutters and downspouts on an annual basis and look for leaks and even missing downspouts or extensions.
